Rob and I have gotten, let’s say, a little lazy. Which is why we are so excited to get back into physical and mental shape on the beautiful grounds at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village! And with two options, there is something for everyone (even Rob!).
 
For those of you looking for inner calm and outer balance, we recommend Tai Chi, based on the ancient Chinese art of self-defense, relaxation and healing, practiced today as a graceful form of exercise. It’s gentle and fluid motions help with balance, strength, flexibility, mental focus and stress reduction.  In this easy-to-learn Tai Chi Chuan class, you will breathe deeply and naturally, focusing your attention on your slow, smooth movements.,  Set in the beautiful zen gardens of the Four Seasons Hotel, Tai Chi is low-impact and suitable for all levels of fitness, regardless of age or athletic ability. Get four Saturday morning classes are just $80!
 
Qigong is a class that focuses on the “Qi,” one’s natural life force. Qigong is the practice of aligning breath, focus and movement leading to improved circulation and longevity. These low impact exercises will move your spine and joints through their full range of motion, increasing your flexibility and improving your balance. In this class you will be practicing Ba Duan Jin, which is a series of movements each focusing on a different physical and Qi area. Suited to all fitness levels, this class will give you an uplifting start to your day, enhancing both mood and sense of well being. Four Saturday morning classes are just $80. Can’t decide between Qigong and Tai Chi? Take them back-to-back for $150.
